Morgan’s 200th BlogPost-aganza!

One Month Shy Of 3 Years…

Today, I’m celebrating my 200th blog post!

When I first started this blog, I imagined a handful of posts, just enough so that my author website wasn’t an empty wasteland.

200 posts later, I’m still going, stronger than ever.

In honor of my 200th blog post, I’d like to invite you to introduce yourself! If you have one, share YOUR blog with me! Tell me what you’ve been up to and what you blog.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks very good!
I’m also interested in this topic and have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive. Was thinking about starting using analytics. Do you recommend it?
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about FutureNet and the way how users can make money on this social networking portal.)

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac

    1. Feel free to share a link in my comments, but I don’t really have a ‘favorite blogs’ list on my website and I’m not actually planning on using one.

I’m too cheap for AdSense and Facebook Ads at this point, but if I actually publish something, I’ll likely spent the money. I’ve bought books off FB ads before.

Make sure to register your page and its index with GoogleSearch so you’ll show up under search results, and reshare you link when you blog on FB, Twitter, etc.

Your page looks very slick (it feels like a marketing site?), but the whole phrases bolded for emphasis seem a bit overdone? I’d use it a little more sparingly. Well written and nice tone.

  2. Hi Morgan, congratulations on 200 blog posts!
I blog over at https://rodericktmacdonald.com/ on Mondays and Thursdays. Mondays I chat about why I write fantasy (I’ve published one novel, writing another, older works languishing in various states of decay), and all things fantasy related. On Thursdays I chat about the trials and triumphs of the writing life. There are forays into morality, heavy metal, doubts, and accomplishments. It’s a mixed bag! I mostly favour the oxford comma (I can’t explain why, it just feels more natural to me), but sometimes I’m wild/forgetful and leave it out!

  3. Congrats, Morgan, on the big 2-0-0!! Here’s to another fab 200, marvelous work!

My own site, Crossed Eyes and Dotted Tees, is easily found at elliepresner.com.

I seem to average two or three posts per week, and have been at it since June 2015. I feature FRIDAY FOLLIES, which focuses on bloopers I find in newspapers and online. I try to make the posts humourous, not staid, and I’m told they’re fun! I also host LAUGHTER: THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE every week, featuring various jokes and funny stories.

In addition I occasionally blog about all sorts of topics; plus my (maybe controversial) opinions are found under the IMHO category. Also, I sometimes run a price drop on my two books, found on Amazon: “Surviving Hollywood North: Crew Confessions from an Insider”; and “First Kiss and other True Fiction.” Mind you, even when not on sale, the ebook versions are cheaper than a latte!

All welcome! Thanks, Morgan, for this little advertising opportunity!
