Week In Review: January 29nd

In Case You Missed it: here’s the round up of all of my latest content, plus updates from old guests!

Read on if you want to know more.

If not? See you next week with more writing tips and writerly musings.

Coming up this week:

On Facebook’s Concellation Group: I’ll be helping hosting the text-only AMA (ask me anything) with Nisi Shawl! The award-winning author of Everfair and Writing the Other, Editor, and Graduate/Board Member of Clarion West. Friday at 3pm EST.

On Youtube: As always, (since August), I have my Lazy Sunday afternoon livestream write-in from 4:30pm-6:30pm EST. Come, hang out, and we’ll probably even do a few productivity sprints.

Content Around The Web:

On Youtube:

  • Commas: The Joy and Bane of Writers – Writing tips on when to use them, when not to, and where it’s wiggly. A bit more grammatically technical than I usually get, but check it out anyway!

On the Podcast:

Season One is DONE! Stay tuned, next week, for Season 2. While still sharing writing tips and writerly musings, I dive into the basics of social media, and more tips from Editors and Publishers!

On The Blog (In Case You Missed Them):

  • Author Spotlight: Brenda W. Clough — the first Asian female SF writer, and the author of The Crystal Crown, An Impossumble Summer, and many others. She’s sharing with us writing tips and talking about her latest stories.
  • Commas: The Joy and Bane of Writers – Writing tips on when to use them, when not to, and where it’s wiggly. A bit more grammatically technical than I usually get, but check it out anyway!

Events:

None scheduled, yet. But watch out, I’m sure they’re coming.

What I’ve Been Reading:

None. Very busy week!

New Works By Previous Guests!

E.G. Moore‘s: Moon Daughter Rising. Annalee’s dad went missing and no one is doing anything about it. The police say he abandoned her, but Annalee knows better. Her aunt and uncle make her promise not to look for him, especially in the woods behind their family cabin for fear she’ll go missing, too.

Now, it’s time for me to play with my new Yeti microphone, that replaced my old Yeti Snowball microphone that gave up the ghost. See you next week!

Morgan grinning, with her new Yeti microphone.
