Events:

None this week. I’ll be paneling at Balticon again this year at the end of May!

You can find me:

Friday, May 28 at 2:30pm: Techniques for Plotting Your Novel (virtual Mount Washington)
at 10:00pm: Anansi Storytime Madlibs (tentative)
Monday, May 31 at 11:30am: Plotting Character Growth (virtual Pride of Baltimore II)

What I’ve Been Reading:

As a Seanan McGuire addict (also, Balticon’s Writer Guest of Honor this year), I read her latest Rose Marshall story – Angel of the Overpass. Her adoptive niece’s actions with the crossroads have repercussions in the ghost world.

Plus, I’ve been binging some Regency romances by Bree Wolf.

The True Prince of Vaurantania by Brenda W. Clough

New Works By Previous Guests!

Brenda Clough‘s latest May Marian story is out! The True Prince of Vaurantania. (Book 1 in the May Marian series is online and free.)

Marian Halcombe Camlet had thought her worst enemy was dead. But a dangerous Balkan prince discovers that her husband Theo is his exact double, a handy stand-in for his own assassination.

I’m starting to learn the flowers that are in my (inherited) garden. I even guessed this one was a peony!

May be an image of flower and nature
