On Season 7 of the Podcast “Writing Tips and Writerly Musings”:

- Giving Thanks – It’s that time of year, especially for most Americans, to give thanks. Despite the admittedly troublesome history, I can’t hate the concept of a holiday that exists to gather with friends and family, eat foods that we don’t normally get, and take a moment to count our blessings.
- Querying in Batches – When you start querying, some writers only send to 1 or 2 agents, while others blast their query letter to the world. Tune in for some reasons why you should pace yourself — but keep at it!

What I’ve Been Reading:
So. Much. MM romance smut. And a few other books. I’ve decided cheesy romances are better than sleep this month. Someone save me from myself. Or give me more recommendations. This month alone, I’ve read:
- Perilous Courts (1-5) by Tavia Lark (fantasy MM romance)
- Radiance (1-3) by Tavia Lark (fantasy MM romance)
- The Incubus Series (1-4, + novellas) by A.H. Lee (fantasy MMF romance/erotica)
- The Knight and the Necromancer (1-3, + novellas) (fantasy MM romance)
- Kind of a Sexy Jerk (#4) by Lili Valente (contemporary MF romance)
- Silk and Steel (1-4) by Ariana Nash (fantasy MM romance)
- Mismatched Mates (1-10) by Eliot Grayson (paranormal MM romance)
- Vino and Veritas (1-5) by Various (contemporary MM romance)
- Slay (#30) by Laurell K. Hamilton (urban fantasy/horror/poly romance)
- Heir to Thorn and Fire by Ben Alderson (epic fantasy MM romance)
New Works By Previous Guests:
- Virtual Rebel by J.Z. Pitts
- Modern Goddess (Fallen Valkyrie #2 – novella) by J.E. Taylor
- Hush A Bye Lady by Abigail Manning
- Blood Heretics (The Vampire Conspiracy #1) by Martin Wilsey
- The Anatalion King (The Anatalion Series #4) by Rebecca Mikkelson
Personal Project Status Updates:
For accountability, (and so you can tell I haven’t just been editing the same manuscript for a decade), I’m going to talk about my projects.
My Novel-length Works In Progress:
The end is in sight for this year’s NaNoWriMo wordcount goal, although the story isn’t quite wrapped up. I’m currently querying my ‘Space Fantasy’ A Dream of Stellarships.

Picture(s) of the Week:
My french bulldog puppy brother tried to sit on my laptop when I visited for Thanksgiving, but I still managed to get my words in.
