So often, Fantasy (and sf) use magic (or tech) to ‘cure’ disabilities, and create worlds populated without any. Let’s talk about the ways that different abilities might be a boon to magic casting and ways that magic could add accessibility, without negating the existence of differently-abled people.
The size of a story is often dictated by the scope of the idea that spawned it. While some experienced writers can tell from the shape of the concept how long their story will be, it’s often a case of trial and error and years.
All stories have a voice and a point-of-view — or POV.
