Read on if you want to know more.
If not? See you next week with more writing tips and writerly musings.
Coming up this week:
On Youtube: No live stream this week. I’ll be celebrating Solstice with my dad early this year, because we’ll both be at WorldCon/DisCon III next weekend!
On Twitch: You can watch my live stream here.
Content Around The Web:
On Youtube:
- What Writers Dream Of – Writers are dreamers — whether we’re talking about their stories or their careers. How big of a career dream do you have? How big of a writer dream do you expect to achieve?
- Vlogmas 2021 – Vlogmas is an annual event where you do a video a day from December 1-24th. A video sort of advent calender. I like to keep mine themed toward writing, but also a nod to the holiday season, while sharing a bit about myself. These < 3 min snippets are all inspired from lyrics to a pair of traditional Christmas songs.
- Loire Writer’s Retreat – Since I’m missing this week’s livestream, I took the time to join up with Claire at the Loire Writer’s Retreat in France for a 90-minute livestream — chatting about writing, ranting a little about Thoreau, and a pair of productivity sprints. You can check out the replay.
On the Podcast “Writing Tips and Writerly Musings”:
- The Reward For A Job Well Done – I think we all know what that means..
On The Blog (In Case You Missed It):
- What Writers Dream Of – Writers are dreamers — whether we’re talking about their stories or their careers. How big of a career dream do you have? How big of a writer dream do you expect to achieve?
- Author Spotlight Guest: Crystal Cherie – A lover of Fantasy and all things Magical Realism, she’s sharing writing tips, her love of escapism, the Rule of Three, and more!
Events:
Coming up December 16-18th, you can find me at WorldCon 2021 (DisCon III) in Washington D.C. The convention runs from the 15th-19th.

Picture(s) of the Week:
I love decorating with holly from my own yard. This is, just like my Christmas tree, shut behind the door where Catticus can’t reach it.
